Venus' Safe and Health Procedures during COVID-19

  • Our goal is to keep you, Venus’ staffs and families healthy and safe.

  • Rule of thumb: DO NOT TOUCH your eyes, nose, and mouth before washing your hands thoroughly.

Customer:

  • Prefer providing services for customers with Online/Phone/Text message appointments. If you’re on your way and need service(s), please call or text ASAP.

  • Sanitize your hands before sign-in.

  • Will be conducted health checks (symptom/temperature) with a touchless infrared thermometer at check-in.

  • You may be asked to wait and stay outdoor, or in-your-car while waiting.

  • Must wear cloth face covering or non-medical mask. Technician could refuse or cancel the remaining service if the mask is not present. Non-medical mask may be given (subject to availability).

  • Ask if you need further instructions or requests.
     

  • Hand sanitizer is available at the technician desk and common areas; you are encouraged to use it when hand washing is not a practical option.

  • Lip and other facial waxing services are postponed until further notice. Wearing non-medical mask is required at all-time during the waxing session.

  • Maintain physical distancing requirements.

Employee & Facility:

  • Conduct daily health checks (symptom and temperature), record log, and signature.

  • Must wear mask when servicing customer.

  • Must wear gloves when servicing customer.

  • Must wear face shields when servicing customer.

  • Must wash hands and change gloves between customers.

  • Wipe down seat; disinfect workstation, contact surfaces and tools after finishing a service/session.

  • Sanitize and disinfect tools after finishing a service/session.

  • Should frequently wash their hands after using the electronic devices and/or credit card machine. Wipe these surfaces between each use.

  • Remove and discard all single-use tools such as paper files, drill bits, and buffers, that have already been used.

  • Hand-washing with soapy, warm water, for a minimum of 20 seconds will be required by employees between every client service.

  • Employee clothing: Employees should arrive at the salon/shop showered and wearing clean clothing. Employees must change clothes before leaving work.

  • Common areas’ surfaces are disinfected with bleach wipes every 2-hour.

  • The entire of Venus Nails and Spa will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected at the end of the business day.

  • Employees who are sick will be expected to stay home

Policies and Procedures During COVID-19 epidemic

Venus Nails and Spa will continually and closely monitor the COVID-19 developments. We have followed the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) guidelines and recommendations. None of Venus’ technicians traveled out of metro Denver since the past year. Venus Nails and Spa commits our top priorities which are facility cleanliness, customers’ healthy, beauty, and satisfaction, and adhering to some new hygiene and disinfecting protocols.

  • Use hand sanitizer before sign in.

  • The best way to keep germs at bay is to wash hands thoroughly, and you are encouraged to do so frequently and when necessary.

  • Venus’ technician must wear mask while providing nail services.

  • Hand sanitizer is available at technician desk and common areas; you are encouraged to use it when hand washing is not a practical option.

  • Pedi chair and/or mani desk are disinfected with bleach wipes after finishing session.

  • Common areas’ surfaces are disinfected with bleach wipes every 2-hour.

 

Therefore, the guidelines change instantly or additional precautions may be adopted without any communication. Venus’ will continue to evaluate the need for additional actions and preventive health measures. Venus Employee Relief Fund

To Venus Nails Community,

A few weeks ago, we could never have imagined a pandemic world in which we were ordered to close our beloved salons due to COVID-19 and uncertain reopening. While we are deeply saddened that our over three years building Venus is being threatened during these uncertain times, we are most heartbroken for our staffs — who we’ve protected and fought for. It's clear the situation is evolving and at this time we don't know for certain how long our stores will be closed. 

Although federal relief may be coming in late April or May, our staffs have bills to pay, families to feed and children to raise now. Our primary concern is protecting the livelihoods of our staff, which is why we are here, asking for your support. So, we set up a GoFundMe called the Venus Employee Relief Fund, which will help support our incredible nail technicians during this difficult time. We are so grateful for any considered amount you can help to our amazing team, which has been so much love to communities across Westminster, Broomfield, Arvada and Metro Denver cities over the years. 

100% of the funds made from this campaign will be distributed evenly and go directly to our incredibly hard-working, wonderful employees and their families. We hope that everyone who loves Venus can consider giving so that we can meet our goal of 3K. Our staff is tirelessly working around the clock to ensure better outcomes to the other side of this even stronger. We are so grateful for our employees' commitments, will fight and assure those contributions have a lasting legacy.
